Registration for St. Michael 2019 Track & Field will be open in January / February 2019 via http://register.smwarriors.com. If you are interested in helping out (coaching, etc), or if you have any questions about your child participating, please contact me by email or phone (info at left).

Practice Schedule - Practices are Tuesday & Thursday evenings 6:00 - 7:30pm starting March 6. The first week or 2 may be in the gym, but as soon as weather and daylight savings allow, we will practice at Worthingway Middle School (6625 Guyer St, Worthington, OH, 43085), with the exception of dates where there is a conflict with Worthingway MS events. Locations for conflict dates will be announced at the beginning of that week.

2019 Meet Schedule - is posted at left of this page. Meets start at 8:45 am for 4th/5th grade events and at 10am/11am/Noon (depending on event) for Reserve (6th-7th grade) and Vasity (8th grade) events. See the Order of Events (pages 31-32 of the Official Rules) for details.

One of the great things about Track & Field is the variety of events: sprints, distance, jumping, and throwing! Plus a mix of relay and individual events. Track meets in the Diocese of Columbus league include the following events (a child can compete in up to 3 events per meet):
-50m Sprint (4th/5th grade only)
-100m Sprint
-200m Sprint
-400m Run
-800m Run
-1600m Run (Reserve / Varsity only)
-4x50m Shuttle Relay (4th/5th only)
-4x100m (400m) Relay
-4x200m (800m) Relay
-Hurdles (Reserve / Varsity only)
-200m Hurdles (Reserve / Varsity only)
-Softball Throw (4th / 5th only)
-Long Jump
-Shotput
-High Jump (Reserve / Varsity only)
-Discus (Reserve / Varsity only)

*Plus some additional relay events for the Buckerfield Relays
